WHAT TYPE OF SESSIONS DO YOU SHOOT?

I specialize in contemporary maternity and family portraits. Children sessions including milestone portraits are serviced within family portrait sessions.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION? Most clients book their sessions 3-4 months in advance to be sure to have their images in hand, email me at photostorycollect@gmail.com for availability. Maternity clients should schedule their session around 29 and 36 weeks along.

WHY ARE DIGITAL IMAGES SO EXPENSIVE? Digital files are the most valuable and essential purchase. Through the portrait packages each purchase made includes both print and digital copy of the image. The purchase of the digital file includes a print release that allows you to make prints of any size without ever having to return to my studio. With this allotment in mind the high-resolution digital files are priced accordingly.

WHAT IF I WANT MORE IMAGES AFTER I SEE MY GALLERY? You falling in love with your gallery is my goal so if you would like to add on or upgrade your collection you’re more than welcomed to do so at a limited time discount rate at your ordering session.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY IMAGES BACK? Once you’ve made your final selections the complete turn around time is 2-3 weeks. If you need your images back sooner please let me know as soon as possible and I will try to accommodate your timeline. Rushing a gallery edit means that another client may have to wait a little longer for their edits and because of this, I provide this service for an additional fee.

WHAT IF I JUST WANT THE DIGITALS? I’m passionate about you having and enjoying your images long after the shoot is over so I include the digital images of each portrait you purchase. The cost for the digital file is the same as the print so you’re really getting two for the price of one!

DO I NEED TO HAVE PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP FOR MY SESSION? Professional makeup is included in the session fee for each appointment because it provides a consistent, polished overall look. Working with a professional makeup artist will provide the clean, minimal (clean) make up look without making you feel weighed down or overdone. While I do hope that you take advantage of the full team to pamper you, there is no discount if you decide to have it done elsewhere or to do it yourself. If you do chose to have it done elsewhere, I ask that you inform us to ensure the makeup artist isn’t scheduled for your session.

I’M NOT SURE I’D FEEL COMFORTABLE POSING NUDE OR NUDE IMPLIED, CAN I STILL DO THIS? Absolutely! While some moms prefer to pose nude or draped in fabric for nude implied shoots, dressing the bump in beautiful gowns and robes is available too! Your session is about making you feel your most beautiful AND comfortable.

CAN I BRING MY PARTNER ALONG? Sometimes having your partner with you calms the jitters or enjoying your special day with mom or your bestie in the studio is just what you need to feel your most confident. So YES I welcome your cheering squad to join I just ask you give a heads up on who will be joining you and that we keep it to 2.

EXTRA WEIGHT AND SKIN IMPERFECTIONS The beauty is in the pose! I will walk you through your entire session, guiding you into poses that best flatter your curves and growing bump. Professional photo retouching is included in your collection with special attention given to skin.

POLICIES

A signed electronic agreement along with the non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve your session date and time. If the retainer and contract are not submitted within 48 hours of receiving your online proposal, the date and time will become open to other inquiries.

A non-refundable retainer fee is payable via Square. Once the retainer is submitted, no additional clients can be booked for that time and so the session fee is non-refundable under any circumstance. Session fees may be transferred to alternative date for no more than 6months after the original reserved time after which time the retainer is no longer valid.

Life happens, if you must cancel your session, please let me know as soon as possible (preferably no later than 48 hours in advance) to reschedule your session.

Please arrive to your session on time with your hair done and ready to begin. Your session will begin on time and may not be extended due to lateness.
